Thresholds and gasketing are sized to the opening rather than stocked as one part number: saddle thresholds and rain drip guards are cut to length, seal is sold by the roll, and a perimeter set is ordered as three pieces, so the dimension is part of the price. The guides below cover National Guard Products lines — barrier-free, aluminum saddle and offset thresholds, an anodized aluminum rain drip guard, fire and smoke seal and a three-sided head and jamb set — alongside Hager thresholds, which add a second priced axis: the machining. Notching, ripping, bevelling and end caps are options on a Hager line rather than assumptions folded into the base figure. Each guide resolves live against its own manufacturer's current price book once a dimension is supplied.
