One line, Schlage ND53 P6 RHO 626, on Schlage's own cut sheet: the function on page 8, the cylinder on page 14, the Rhodes lever and its dimensions on page 3, the 626 finish on page 2. Each option is highlighted where the manufacturer prints it.

One line is shown. Your upload gets the same marking for every line in the package. To mark a single line yourself, use single-line submittals, free.

Quoting tools print the cut sheet. Someone still has to mark it.

Quoting tools output plain cut sheets with nothing marked. Then a detailer, project coordinator or estimator marks the part numbers, options and finishes by hand, usually in Bluebeam, and does it again after every round of review comments. Unmarked product data is a common reason submittals come back.

Built for the people at commercial hardware distributors who assemble submittals after award, and for owner-operators who do it themselves.

How it works

1

Upload

A hardware schedule, a take-off, or an export from ProTech, Comsense or a spreadsheet. Add your own cut sheets if you have them.

2

We decode and match

Every part number is decoded with Conversant's configurator and each product is matched to a cut sheet from our library. Your own cut sheets take priority over ours.

3

Download the marked package

Options and finishes highlighted on each cut sheet, a callout stamp on every sheet with the full part number broken into its segments, and a cover index listing opening → part number → page.

Every line matched to a cut sheet

Each decoded part number is matched to its manufacturer's sheet. A sheet you attached is used in place of the library's, and a line with no sheet is named, so you can attach one before the package is built.

One PDF: the index, then every marked sheet

The package opens on a cover index of opening, part number and page, each page number a link to its sheet. Every sheet after it is marked and stamped, in schedule order, and bookmarked.

What's in the package

Highlights

Each furnished option and the finish marked where the manufacturer prints it, on the page it is printed.

Callout stamp

On every sheet: the full part number, broken into its segments, each named.

Cover index

Opening → part number → page, with each page number linked to its sheet.

Bad part numbers, flagged

A part number the manufacturer's book doesn't allow is flagged with the valid choices, not marked as if it were right.

We catch bad part numbers before your architect does

Every part number is decoded against the manufacturer's own book before its sheet is marked. A combination the book doesn't allow is flagged, with the choices it does allow.

On the schedule
Ives 700 83 626
FlaggedThe Ives 700 is a stainless-steel continuous hinge, and its book offers it in 630 (satin stainless) only. Finish 626 isn't available, so the line comes back as 700 83 [?finish] with 630 as the choice, instead of a marked sheet for a part that can't be ordered.

Works with what you use

  • ProTech exports
  • Comsense exports
  • Excel and CSV
  • Hardware schedules (PDF)
  • Take-offs

Upload the file as it is: PDF, Excel or CSV. The schedule doesn't need to be clean; the same reading that powers hardware schedule extraction handles merged columns and wrapped lines.

Sample take-off above: 5 unique part numbers, 19 pieces, 1 left out with no cut sheet4 lines → $49 (minimum)
A larger job: 85 unique part numbers85 lines → $85

Submittal package FAQs

Is my project data confidential?

Your files are used to build your package and are not shared with manufacturers or other customers.

Which manufacturers are covered?

The cut-sheet library holds manufacturer documents for 19 brands: ACCENTRA, Adams Rite, BEST, Corbin Russwin, dormakaba, Falcon, Glynn-Johnson, Hager, HES, Ives, LCN, McKinney, Norton Rixson, Pemko, Rockwood, SARGENT, Schlage, Securitron, Von Duprin. Coverage is by series, not by brand: where a series has no sheet in the library, we tell you which lines are missing one, and you can attach your own.

What file types can I upload?

PDF, Excel (.xlsx or .xls) or CSV: the hardware schedule, a take-off, or an export from ProTech, Comsense or a spreadsheet, as it is. Up to ten files, 50 MB each.

Can I use my own cut sheets?

Yes. Upload them with your schedule. Your sheets take priority over the library's: where you attach one for a product, we mark yours.

Does this cover substitution requests?

Not this package. It marks the products on your schedule as written. Substitution requests are a separate service.

You are. We prepare the marked package; you review it, and you submit it under your company's name.
