L-FRA100 pricing is by size: give the cutout width and height (24" x 30", for example) and this page prices the kit live from the current NGP price book.
What doors and glass does the L-FRA100 fit?
NGP prints the L-FRA100 for 1-3/4" thick doors and 3/16", 1/4" or 5/16" glass. A separate L-FRA100-SP version is printed for variable door and/or glass thickness.
What is the L-FRA100 made of?
The frame is 18 Ga. cold rolled steel, with #8 x 1-3/4" Phillips head sheet metal screws as the standard fastener. NGP lists its lite kits as available in cold rolled steel, galvanneal and stainless steel.
Can the L-FRA100 go on a fire-rated door?
NGP's lite kit section states that lite kits installed in fire-rated doors require fire-rated glass and glazing tape. Neither is part of the kit — the L-FRA100's own available-options list prints "Glass & Glazing Tape - See Glass Section".
What finishes does the L-FRA100 come in?
Gray primer (GPZ) powder coat is standard. Printed standard colors include tan, beige primer (matches Steelcraft), dark bronze, putty (matches Anemostat Beige) and California bronze (matches Anemostat), with optional colors from walnut brown to matte black and white.
Does ADA limit where a vision lite sits in the door?
NGP quotes the ADA Standards for Accessible Design: the bottom of the viewing area of the glass panel must be located 43" maximum above the floor, with an exception for vision lites whose viewing area starts more than 66" above the floor.
